Group Volunteer Opportunities

Subsidize- A-Room Program

Our committment to preserve affordable housing in Calgary means that we have several rooms at the Victory Manor that are subsidized for individuals who have extremely low incomes.

Our "Subsidize-A-Room Program" means that for a committment of $150.00 per month, you can help an individual remain housed and off the streets.

Contact us today if you would like to know more about this program.

Meals and Food Programs

The Eastside Victory Outreach in Forest Lawn provides a meal service to the homeless seven days a week. Food is currently  provided daily by Calgary Food Services.

Demolition and Renovation:

Our renovation of the VIctory Manor in Ogden means that we need a large group of people to come out to help with the demoliton and renovation work. Whether you volunteer a few hours or a few days, all help is appreciated.

Christmas Hampers

Each Christmas we like to give something special to our tenants and to the community. It has been a tradition that we have had for the past sixteen years.

Special Thanks

The Rotary Club of Calgary (Heritage Chapter) for the Christmas hampers.

Jacquie Stefanowski and her group of volunteers for the hot meal served with the Christmas hampers.

Vicki Anderson for homemade baking and knitted items for the Christmas hampers for each of the fifty-five residents in the building.

Laura Anderson for the socks stuffed with goodies.
