Addictions Life Groups

A recovery program for various addictions has been an active part of the Victory Foundation for a number of years. 

Instead of focusing on the addiction and reliving the past, we focus on finding solutions to manage the addiction on a day to day basis.  Every addiction is an outward sign of something that is dysfunctional deep on the inside.  Whether it be a wrong thought pattern or a wrong belief system; the only way that the "fruit" of a person's life can change is by first changing the "root" of the problem.

We have found that an individual with an addiction has a better chance of success by becoming accountable through the developing of relationships. Through this involvement, friendships are formed within the group and continue to grow outside of the group.

Everyone is free to participate in any way that they choose.  Those who attend quickly become involved by sharing their experiences, struggles, defeats, and victories.

All are welcome and it has been encouraging for us as we see many individuals move forward from a place of survival to a place of success.  

The following support groups are being offered in Ogden:

Monday "I Can Group": for both men and women meet at 6:45PM in Ogden at 7012 Ogden Rd. S.E.

Friday AA Meeting: for both men and women is meeting at 6:45PM in Ogden at 7012 Ogden Rd. S.E.

The following groups are being offered in Forest Lawn

Tuesday Tuesday Recovery Group: for both men and women meets at 7:00PM at the church (1840 - 38 st. S.E.)

This group begins on September 12 and finishes on September 26.

Tuesday Boundry Group: for both men and women meets at the church at 7:00PM. This group will only go until the end of August.

Wednesday Community AA Group: for both men and women meets at 7:30PM at the church in Forest Lawn (1840 - 38 st. S.E.)

Friday N.A. Group: for both men and women meets at 7:30 in Forest Lawn at 1840 - 38 St. S.E.

Friday Naranon Group:  for both men and women meets at 7:30PM in Forest Lawn at 1840 - 38 St. S.E. This is a support group for anyone personally involved in a relationship with and addict.

Codependcy Group: is a new group beginning on Tuesday, September 20. This group is for both men and women and will meet at the church in Forest Lawn (1840 - 38 st. S.E.) at 7:00 PM.
